First off, thank you for considering me as your photographer! Photography is an intimate experience, whether we are in studio, or I'm coming into your home, in order to get the best images you have to let your guard down and be comfortable in front of me and my camera. So I think it is only fair if I tell you a little about me!

I've loved photography since I was old enough to hold a camera. My Dad helped me purchase my first "legit" camera when I was in Jr. High. I was often the friend who brought a point and shoot camera to every school event, girls get-together, and family outing! With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I am confident in my skills but also am always striving to learn more.

I have a background in Education as an Elementary Teacher for 3 years! I often receive feedback from my clients regarding how easily I was able to get their children comfortable in front of the camera. I'm not afraid to be silly and ridiculous so that your kiddos let their guards down! My style of photography also allows me to be a bit of a fly on the wall. While there are definitely some more posed, "smile at the camera" type of shots, I also ensure to mix in a healthy amount of candid images as well. This helps encourage kiddos to forget I am even there! Often resulting in the best images that you will cherish for a lifetime.

When I am not behind the camera, I am at home with my giant dogs and my daughter! Becoming a mom has been an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience, however with my daughter being born in April 2024 I am just at the start of the parenthood race. The new experience of being a mom allows me to connect with many of my clients on a deeper level, especially during newborn sessions.

I also mentioned my giant dogs...yes giant is correct! My Husband and I have a Bullmastiff and St.Bernard cross. Both of them are gentle giants...and leave a trail of hair where ever they go! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always happy to have them join in on our session. Honestly, animals of all kinds have my heart, so if you have a rabbit, cat, lizard, or even a snake you would like to incorporate into your session I am more than thrilled!
